Trip Overview

Mera Peak rises to an impressive elevation of 6,461 meters on the edge of the renowned Khumbu Region in the Everest Himalayan range. Mera Peak climbing has become increasingly popular among first-time climbers, offering an attractive  introduction to high-altitude mountaineering. As the highest trekking peak in Nepal, it demands strong physical fitness and determination. While the climb is not technically complex—with snow slopes rarely exceeding 40 degrees—it is physically challenging due to the high altitude.

This itinerary is thoughtfully designed with ample time for acclimatization and gradual fitness buildup, which is essential for a safe and successful ascent. The trail leads to Mera Base Camp through traditional Sherpa villages and the pristine alpine forests of the Hinku Valley, known for its beautiful blue pine and rhododendron landscapes.

From the summit, climbers are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of five of the world’s six highest mountains: Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kangchenjunga, and Cho Oyu—a truly unforgettable reward for the effort.

Package Highlights:

Mera Peak Climbing offers an exhilarating adventure to the highest trekking peak in Nepal (6,476m), surrounded by breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga. The journey takes you through remote villages, lush forests, and the stunning Hinku Valley, providing a glimpse into the rich Sherpa culture and traditions. With thrilling high-altitude passes like Zatrwa La and non-technical climbing, this expedition is perfect for adventure seekers.
